As Asa enters summer break, Makio finds herself growing closer with Kasamachi-kun.

As Makio weighs what to do with Minori's journal, she meets Emiri's mother and learns of Minori's past.

After discovering Minori's journal, Asa begins skipping school, prompting Makio to search for her.
