Sofea's father, Fauzi, is a van driver and is rarely at home. Nora is very fierce and does not show affection to her child. Fauzi's mother, Nek Yam, suddenly falls ill, which prompts Fauzi to want to have her live with them. This desire is strongly opposed by Nora, who has never gotten along with her mother-in-law. From this, a past story is uncovered that explains why Nora hates Nek Yam so much.
